Cost-effective media handling and transcoding

The Packetrino CoreMedia system is a software and hardware combination that allows painless, cost-effective growth of media handling capabilities. CoreMedia provides:

• Toplogy Hiding (RTP Proxy)
• Codec Translation (G.711, G.723.1, G.729, GSM)
• DTMF Translation (Inband, RFC2833, SIP INFO)
• QoS Reporting

For low-volume (under 500 channels) implementations, CoreMedia can be installed as a software-only upgrade to CoreSwitch. 

For high-volume implementation, CoreMedia comes as a software and hardware bundle. For maximum density, a blade configuration is available that provides over fifteen thousand transcoded channels per 10U chassis.

Availability

Packetrino CoreMedia will be available after CoreSwitch, in Q4 CY2008.
